St. Luke's Charity Golf Tournament
St. Luke's put together a charity golf tournament hosted at the Jerome Golf Course. All proceeds benefit temporary patient and family housing. The hope is to build apartments close to the new hospital that can be rented at a discounted rate for patients receiving long-term care. Currently they lease some housing near the old hospital and it rents for a greatly reduced rate compared to in-hospital expenses. There were 24 teams of 4 that teed off for the tournament and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Rebecca with the St. Luke's Foundation made sure all participants were well taken care of, with volunteers on the green, serving champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.
