Halloween Community Fun at KMART

Several local businesses teamed up to bring the community a safe and fun Halloween Event for kids of all ages. With a crowd of over 3,000 expected, participating business prepared by buying massive amounts of candy. Some dentists offered toothbrushes!! It was a great event with lots of happy families attending.

Bake sale was awesome!

According to Julie Ruf, parent of Jonah Ruf, Student City Council Member, they hope the event becomes a family friendly festival. Looking to next year, they plan on this becoming an annual event that promotes healthy families and celebrate our "natural" resource - WIND! They hope to secure vendors and sponsors  with food, face painting, wind related gadgets, (chimes, wind sox, pinwheels, etc.). Julie also added that they would love to include the local wind farms in hopes they would sponsor prizes for friendly competitions including: flight time, home made kites and kids events. 

The Twin Falls City Council supports and encourages this event with the Students being the organizers of the festivities. They hope to get it off the ground and FLYING!
