Dierkes Lake
The newly refreshed sandy beach at Dierkes is a great place for kids to play. It's safely blocked off from the deeper waters with a barrier. Leaving only a shallow wading area for young ones. There are also benches lining the wall so parents have a close place to sit comfortably while watching their children enjoy the sand.
Dierkes is a recreational destination, with so many things to do. There is something for everyone with the hiking trails, rock climbing, fishing, and large open spaces for a fun family game. The playground offers lots of entertainment and is surrounded by grassy places to lay out a blanket and have a picnic. Dierkes is fun for the whole family!
