Soaring Beauty
Box Canyon is a beautiful place full of unexpected wonders. Even in the dead of winter there was magnificent color to be seen all over the canyon. The 1 mile hike to the rim is a smooth and easy trail. Once you crest the top of the first hill you might catch sight of the many bald eagles that nest in it's cliff side. Tho the water fall isn't running in the winter, there is still water that flows straight out of the canyon floor. There are bright green flora speckling the pools below. 3 eagles were kind enough to put on a spectacular display of their beauty and grace. Can't wait to go back in the spring and take more photos of this beautiful place.

What amazing photos. I love all the colors of the mosses and soil. I love the eagle photos. Thank you for inspiring all of us to take a closer look at the place we live. So much fun to see what you are looking at!
