Learn to paint or quilt for FREE
On the second Wednesday of every month in Hansen at the Hansen Community Center you can learn to paint a beautiful landscape, or learn how to sew and quilt. The goal for the community of new or veteran quilters is to make lap quilts for the patients at the Mountain View Care Center. The plan is to use old denim jeans for the men, and some softer type material for the women.
Barbara is the teacher for the painting class, they work with primary colors, and blend as needed. She starts with very basic instructions to help people at all levels of painting skills learn. Everything is supplied for you, all they ask is you bring small tin cans for water. Again this is FREE!
Clicky Chicks were welcomed by such friendly people at the Hansen Community Center today. Classes start at 10:30am on the second Wednesday of each month. You will be surrounded by awesome, community oriented people. What a treat for us in Southern Idaho to have amazing people volunteering their time to offer fun and free things for us to do.
What a great way to spend a day. Looks like a lot of fun!
